Got my mem at 891mhz 5,5,5,12 1.9v but it can do 1069mhz with auto settings 5,5,5,15 but with more volts 2.2.
Is there much extra performance to be gained from this or not worth it.
Memory is 2x2gig of Black Dragon PC6400 great ram in my opinion.

I had some OCZ ram die very fast when overvolted, but they accepted the RMA quite happily. I'd vote for running it as fast as you can without exceeding recommended volts. Have you considered 891mhz at tighter timings if it'll go?

What voltage did you have the OCZ runnnig @ when it died?
What MB was you using?

is that a joke? of course you dont need to touch the case first

yes you do... you need to earth yourself so you don't discharge static onto your RAM

thats an urban myth, i have taken out RAM hundreds of times without touching the case and never had any issues, i have taken out RAM with the computer running and never had any issues, computer parts are tougher than you might imagine
