What engine is that? I am struggling to think of a V12 M-series car? The only questionable one i can think of is the E31 850Csi but even that wasnt M branded?

Even if that had a Ferrari engine in, it would suck big time. I dont care how fast the car is...it looks mega crap.

Hmmm.....maybe it's an F1 engine?

EDIT: urghhhhhhh! Just realised F1 cars haven't (since 94) had V12 engines. And i call myself an F1 enthusiast!

I am fully aware of BMW's engine lineup, but none of those were found in any M-series cars, as far as i can tell?

The M stuff was added later as you can see. Adds a bit of colour to the bay anyway.

I love it. I can always appreciate the workmanship and talent to pull these kind of things off. No need to ask why, it speaks for itself.

I think Jez's point was that there were no "M" cars with V12 engines, i.e. no M7 or M8 to join the M1, M3 and M5. I tell a lie - there was a prototype M8, but that was about it.

Anyway, you guys are forgetting the McLaren F1. Although that's pretty much like an F1 engine, but still a road car with an M Power V12.
