If you find out someone ends up short of an opponent due to a no show this round feel free to call on me, may as well make em work for their place in the second round eh! :D

I can see a lot of stage 1 fighters just getting a pass. I hope mr.c shows up, I really want to have my stage 1 fight. :(

Also, I wish I moved the start of this tournament to today while everyone is still all hyped up about SF4. Only a few more days till march 1 anyway, good thing feb is only 28 days. :D

LOL me too. Just my luck I get drawn against the guy who is the highest ranked online player on my Friends List (over 2k Battle Points). I have till 1st March to figure out where he lives, send some boys round and get me a bye into round 2 :)

What are the rules on the times of the matches are and how long we can wait for them to show up, because i want to play my match there and then and if there not around when there suppost to be its not fair.

We can do it whenever you like mate, i'm happy to go for real or have another sparring session next time we're both on, whichever you prefer.

Robert I know the rules state the first round of the tournament is one match and best out of 3 rounds, if me and Chris agree to best out of 5 is that ok? I think you get a better feel off your opponent over a slighter longer game.

All parties should post in here before they have their game, and straight away post the result and you can update the thread accordingly.

You've definately got the edge on me but it's not wholly one sided, it's got the potentiall to be a good one :)

Whatever happens, can i have a re match when i finally get my stick finished??

I'm here don't worry, i can play anytime on the 2nd or 3rd of march if thats ok.
 
Well, the guy I'm due to fight in round one hasn't even accepted my friends request yet, I sent it as soon as the names were drawn.

Same here.

This sort of thing doesn't seem to work here, people sign up to things like this and don't bother following up. Same with the FIFA leagues. :(

I was part of a 64 player PS3 tourney on another forum and every game was played after 4 days including the final, although I went out in the first round. :p

If we are going to play each other between the set dates (1st-3rd March), it will have to be the Sunday for me. Otherwise I'm available this Friday and Saturday. If we are going to play early I'd rather do the Friday as weekdays when I'm not working are usually quite quiet for me. Just after lunch (about 3pmish) would be the ideal time for me on Friday.
 
You hadn't added me but I've just added you through the website.

I can't really guarantee a time I will be on on Friday night or Saturday all day, but I will more than likely be on at some point those days. How about we provisionally organise the game for something like Sunday 3pm but if we see each other online on Friday or Saturday we could decide to have the game then?
