Nowhere I want to be.
I have a friend that is 31 and he is going out with a 16yr old girl still at school.

Is this appropriate these days?

He says that when he was at school 35yr olds were doing 16yr olds.

Seems a bit much to me...

It always makes me wonder what fundamental flaw a 35yr old must have to not be able to date a person of similar age. Scary really

I think the debate is a lot of 16 yo girls not knowing any better and older men taking advantage of that perhaps?

I remember girls at my school seeing 18-20 year old men but no older than that.

As people have said it's legal but still doesn't seem quite right..

Well it's legal. Certainly morally ambiguous and I would be suprised if a 16 year old had anything of any interest to say to 31 year old. Too larger a gap in thought processes.

Yeah, that's the only thing...I can't imagine someone that age knowing what they actually want...But hey, who am I to judge.

legal but incredibly wrong, it's basically pedophillia if we're honest, how does a 35 year old meet a 16 year old by chance, they're obviously looking for young girls to date.

Sounds wrong, but nothing you can do about it from legal standpoint. To me it makes no sense, but perhaps to them it does.

Point and laugh, that's the deal - he gets toight teenage totty, but loses absolutely all self-respect for being one of those guys everyone laughed at when they were at school for hanging round the school gates and generally being a loser :p

but seriously, what the hell is the girl thinking?
££££, namely owning a car and being able to treat her to a Nando's once in a while equating to 'maturity'
