So I'm thinking of giving up drinking soon, but I figured I should say goodbye to drinking in style. I thus want to compile a list of drinks that I must drink before giving up.

Notes to stop the thread drifting off purpose:
  • I'm not an alcoholic
  • I've never been an alcoholic
  • Nobody I know is an alcoholic
  • I have not got in to any sort of trouble through drink.
  • I don't like beer/lager/ale so no beer/lager/ale suggestions please
  • Why I'm giving up is not important to this thread.

So, what do you suggest? I've been a student so have covered most of the basics so am more looking for speciality drinks, amazing wines/whiskies etc and comedy drinks suggestions...

do an 'A-Z' make up cocktails for the letters with missing drinks.

costs a lot, and you wake up thinking "i'm REALLY never drinking again" for a few days

Two obvious choices, but are drinks that I have sparingly to preserve their specialness :D

Koppaberg Pear Cider
Pina Colada

White russian
Russian bride
Malibu and pineapple
Absolut vanilla and orange juice
Sailor jerry's and coke
Midori and coke

G&T on the beach, some good quality Apple brandy in Winter, White Russian on a night out, a mystertiously decent yet disconceringly cheap bottle of Rosé bought from a cafe in Rome.

To me, place and company are what make a really good drink. Any one of those taken alone on the sofa isn't going to set the world on fire.

EDIT: Oh, and you're mad.

Have to try these:

Kopparberg Winter fruits
Hennessy and lemon and lim
Hennessy and apple juice

Gin & Tonic.

Just to get the obligatory girly drink out the way.

Or...Bacardi and diet coke

Got a fiver for ordering that at the roughest pub in town :o

Tastes rank though :D
