Pic: Your desk...RIGHT NOW

Nice setup Skyfall! What's that thing on the left of your left monitor with 2 USB ports on the side of it and an LCD display?

Clock, by the looks of it. :)

Yep it's one of these USB clock thingies;

I've got to ask - Where do you all put your Modems/Routers? My desk is always a mess, just because of the damn modem and router!

Modem is on top of my speaker here (would have it hidden but the wireless signal was crap elsewhere);

And a switch behind my monitors;

Taken last night, only difference now is the SLR and netbook on the desk!

Love the big desk and tidy setup there. Flooded with natural light too which is always a good thing :)

The Desk in My Hotel in Brizzol on Friday/Saturday..

Yes thats an iMac in Every room!!... Free Internet and TV.. also Free Wi-fi if you have your own Laptop...

Now that is smart! must have cost a bit though to stay there. What hotel?

Discs out of thier cases... dont like to see that :p Soon as a disc / game comes out of the PS3 its put right back into its case. Ive got a bit of OCD about things like that :p

Tom,

Does your right hand/wrist not ache after a while? looks like half your wrist is leaning on the edge of the desk with the monitor angled in that direction!

I'm toying with the idea of angling mine the other way instead of head-on.

Can't say I've noticed it. Just make sure im right up close to the desk and any part of my arm that does lean off normally rests on my chair arm. I have it angled that way so it is dead on facing my bed and I can watch films etc ;) in bed.

I'm still toying with the whole placement of everything so if it does start to ache a bit ill just move everything about till i get it how I like.

Mine's in the kitchen with the switch and servers. Although I have a small 5 port gigabit switch on my desk, too. Just in case I need to plug laptops or consoles in.

Its the 'City Inn' about a 5 minute walk from Temple Meads!.. only £65 a night (room only).. not bad considering the 'Holiday Inn' opposite Temple Meads is £75 a night and no iMac/Free wi-fi (but includes a crap Brekkie!)...

I was well impressed!!.. :cool::cool::cool:

Just literally moved into a bigger room about 30 mins ago, so took a quick snap of my new desk with the downstairs laptop (using temp till I can get an ethernet cable from the downstairs router to this room). Dont think the pic turned too bad, as its only a C902 :)

Imagine a rather dandy pair of bookshelf speakers and an amp - because they'll be there shortly :P . Can't beat a shabby seventies dining seat with cushions for comfort.

And at Blackhawk 47 - is that mouse mat doing wonders for you? I've often thought something that keeps my fore arm raised a little would lessen the strain from err over mouse usage.

My room mate has moved out so I'm in the process of sorting out my room, though I may be moving into a different room on the floor that has a sea view some time this or next week so it may end up being a big waste of time... lol.
