In the queue now, used to play quake and doom etc back in the day, haven't played fps for a while now, looking forward to it...

Just been playing, it's good, just getting used to playing fps again, dying loads at the mo! But will return with a vengeance!
 
Updated all the name list.

I have added a load of you and will do more soon in game. Looks like the BETA is a little hard to get playing with friends but I have managed to join a game with one before.

It's fun to get back to the fast paced action, it's non stop! If anyone wants a game I'm loading through the Queue now...started at 6k :(

Haha so true, I've just been having this conversation with a friend who I'm trying to get to play more. He's not sure at the moment after only 5-10mins of play saying:

"Oh, It's quite fast paced and fun but I think I prefer Halo or Call of Duty..."

I mean the nerve to compare such greatness with Halo or Call of Duty really annoyed me, he obviously is not too cultured in the way of FPS gaming. I'll make him see the light though! ;)
 
Not having much luck with this so far, can't reconfigure my keys. I click on an action to configure but it doesn't respond to any keystrokes. Nothing on the forums about it either so I can only assume it's me.
When I get set up, I'll be on with same name as forum name.

Same here, having to play with default at the mo. The change key window pops up but it doesnt register any key presses.
 
If you are running the game in IE7 on Vista you need run it with IE's protected mode turned off, the easiest way to do this is by adding the quakelive website to the trusted sites list.
