Oooh a dating question!

I was texting this girl for a few weeks, on and off and it came up that we should go out - have seen her before - and then we decided what to do but didn't make final plans and then the day we were supposed to go out I sent her 1 message saying what's the plan for tonight then? and she didn't write back. But then she text me the next week just chatting way, and the same happened later in the week. This has been going on for a few weeks, and I only send 1 text on the day and don't get a reply. And then it's her making the contact. Damn girls are annoying.

I've constantly got my phone in my hand

You really need to lay off with all the texts/calls and let him stew. Being all stalkerish with the guy won't help and will more than likely scare him away! Get some self-control woman!!

(I love quoting out of context :D)

She's with someone else mate. Sorry.

Men like to play games (like someone admitted to in the thread already). It's a bit silly and childish, if you like someone why not just reply? He's probably just leaving you hanging as he doesn't want to seem too eager.

I'm sure you'll have a great second date too :)

I don't understand why people play games. If I like someone I tell 'em. It doesn;t always get me the outcome I want but at least people know where they stand with me. :) To all my friends I reply within minutes of text messages (unless I'm in a place where I cannot reply)... however as I said earlier, he might just be busy or not be in a position to answer. :) Don't fret. :)

Go and find his house and spy on him to see what he's up to.

Seriously though, its funny that your asking the question on such a male dominated forum.

my advice leave it alone, one text message is enough, if it doesn't get replied to than that's the end of it. (no that's not one on top of what you have already sent that's one in total)

Yeah I started doing that years ago as well. Too many times I played the game and played it cool all for somebody else to get in there first and then later find out that it would have gone somewhere with her if I made a move at the time.

The worst was one who said yes when I finally asked her out and slept with her who said she had been waiting weeks for me to do that but the bad news was she was moving 300 miles a week later so it was a very short relationship. lol

Reminds of the Kevin Wilson (i think that's his name) song "Do you **** on first dates? Does your dad own a brewery" etc

And Tisonlyme is ;)

:p

i some how stumbled onto this thread ^_^ and now interested, resurrecting it. How did it go?

2nd date happen?

I know, to be honest this new thing has moved really quickly. He's asked me to meet his family etc and asked if it's ok that he refers to me as his girlfriend. Normally if something were to move this fast I'd be a bit scared off, but as corny as it sounds, this one just feels 'right'

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but how long should you date a chick before you're able to consider her your girlfriend? I've been married (until 7 months ago) the last 4 1/2 years, so I'm sort of not used to this whole dating thing lol.

I've been seeing a lovely girl for about a month now...when should I ask if she'll be my gf?

Sounds like a desparado that found you weren't a pushover and legged it. And the chances of finding a guy that really wants a relationship rather than just to act out his favourite pron with you on a dating site are pretty slim love sorry.
Better luck next time I'd say :)
