My first season i ended up having a stormer and came 2nd, over that time gained lots of money, balance was about £39m before the £19.5m for coming 2nd, and then TV etc. Ended up with £59m transfer budget for mid-table finish...and sold about £20m, and managed to ask for more cash. So basically ended up with a super team in 2nd season, so i might re-start, lol.

Managed to get;

Asenjo - £8.25m
Jack Wilshere - £3.6m
Giuseppe Rossi - £18.5m
Fernando Llorente (by accident) - £13.25m
Liedson (was meant to sign him instead of ^) - £5m
Angelo Palombo - £10.5m
Federico Fazio - £5.75m
Oscar Ustari - £5.5m
Sebastien Squillaci - £16.25m
Rafinha - £15.5m
= £102m

As what team?
 
Fulham.

Not sure how i managed it really, was a pretty standard Fulham lineup bar Salgado and a few other rotating every so often.

That was July in the 2nd season, lol.

I had £39m balance, then got £19.5m from finishing 2nd, and then TV money, then sold Ronaldo, Denilson, Rivaldo, Nevland, Schwarzer and a few others.

Was given £59m or something for top-half finish, so put higher, then the money from selling a lot of players totalled about £18m, then asked for more cash and adjusted budget, leaving me £107m to spend, and i spent the £102m.

Because i was given too much money, decided to start as a lower team, Rimini in Italy's Serie B. Got £280 worth of wages left....bah.

Man whats with the injury in this new patch? Its gone sky high again!

First game in pre-season, torrest - out for 8-12 months
2nd game of season - gerrard - out for 2-3 months
4th game - Maxi rodre' - out for 2 months
11th game - Srna out for 3-4 months.


Got gerrard back and what happens now, Reina - out for 7-9 months.

Seriously, what the hell.

And to make matters worse, the clubs been bought out by a board member, who demands a top 2 finish in the PL and CL Win , yet invested 0 cash. awesome.
 
Maybe your tactics..or you're setting them to tackle hard etc? I haven't had too many long term injuries, had a couple on 3months, but that didn't seem that bad. And what injury does Torres/Reina have to be out so long?

Dont think its down to anything my side, using the same tac's as previous patch :o

think its best to give up and start again though.
 
Trail end of the season now, managed to sneak upto 3rd somehow lol just got a complete spanking away at the bridge though 4-1, 'kin hell chelsea are pretty insane on the first season at least.
 
Cant believe ive not bought it yet! Doing really well to hold off until the summer, i have more time then! Student!:p
 
Or even sets the game to holiday mode for 7 years, then just checks out all the lovely statistics at the end of it? You don't even need to play the game then :p


I have too many players... again. I always end up like this, there's a fantastic youngster going for cheap and I pick them up even though I don't need them. I just bought Balotelli for £10m and Feghouli for £2m at the beginning of my second season.

Balotelli is a little gem... i always get him turns into one of the best in the world..
 
I started a new game with Arsenal on the 9.0.3 patch. Signed Zhirkov in Summer for £13m (absolute bargain... awesome signing) and Vager Love in January for £18 incl. clauses (15 games, 6 goals, 6 assists, 7.22 rating) and I won the league, 6 points from Chelsea and FA Cup. :)

Oh and Arshavin doesn't get in my team, lol.
