I was wearing Lyle & Scott in 2000 - a trendsetter I am.
Actually I'm a golfer.
I don't like their fashion range.
If people think Lyle & Scotts are overpriced, then what's your view on high fashion pieces, from Dior, D&G, Paul Smith...etc?
Lyle and Scott cotton Harrington jacket in navy, front button up pockets, with Lyle and Scott signature logo on chest is a feast for eyes. These casual wears make me feel special.
Lyle & Scott, Fred Perry and Jack Wills. All over priced cack that people still buy because it's got the logo.
For people with more money than sense...unless the quality of the garment actually warrants a higher price tag I don't pay it. I bought a really nice leather jacket after Christmas which was £160 it's the most expensive item of clothing I have ever bought. Other than that I think the most expensive item was probably £40 - £50.
I have never ever shopped by brand, my dad is in the clothing business I was brought up around it. I can tell an item from the materials and finishing not from the price tag. The amount of times I have seen terrible quality T-Shirts from the expensive brans is amazing.....few washes and it will be like a rag.
Have never understood everyone wearing the same big name brands, it just screams out "I'm shallow" don't you want your own look?
i'll give you TK Maxx and Primark, but Peacocks? dude...Jesus, some of the labels mentioned in this thread look like "toffs" clothing. I wouldnt even be able to afford a pair of socks from that Jack and Wills outfit.
Give me TK Maxx, Primark and Peacocks![]()
