Giganews, any idea what's happening?

I've checked down for everyone or just me, and that came back as saying giganews was down too. My downloads just came to a halt about 20 mins ago and I can't access the site.

Anyone else having issues?

I'm having trouble with the site, but downloads are still going fine. Hopefully the site issues shouldn't last too long, from past experience they seem to be pretty quick at sorting outages/problems.

What program are you using to download? All mine just stopped about the same time as op.

I'm using sabnzbd+, are you guys using the europe server (news-europe.giganews.com)?

As said before, ex giganews user here, now an Astraweb user. Best decision... cheaper, still maxes my connection and have no problem with retention, either.

im also with astra web, get over 50mb/s on my server with them, so it should pretty well max out any home connection

Im fairly new to usenet and was intially gonna sign up with giganews, then got astraweb unlimited downloads, 20 connections, ssl for 11 dollars a month, its a no brainer really.
