I actually like this! Bit fiddly at first but once you get used to it, I reckon its awesome!
Cant wait to try out other characters. Is Mr. Perfect in this?

I was looking at this as well for the PS3. Am gutted that there is no macho man, or no Demolition, or Strike Force.

Might hire it out on the Tesco dvd rental and see how it plays

Ugh bad game, some of the graphics and facial expressions are ok but the gameplay sucks harder than a Dyson.
Reminded me very much of the old Legends of Wrestling games for the PS2.

Total disappointment 3/10

Also, it seem to me that when THQ landed the license they werent able to make a decent wrestling game and now were talking nearly a decade now I think!

Eh? If you're going to label "Warzone" as an era, i'd class that as when SSSA was top of the pile, which was around 98 onwards IIRC. I'm talking about the era which was all about Bret Hart and the Hart Foundation, Shawn Michaels, Yokozuna, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Ric Flair, 123 Kid, Diesel, Sid et al. Royle Rumble 91 onwards basically

Because its slow,clunky and has quick time events. Quick time events in a wrestling game?!? Do they want this game to fail or something?

Have you played the n64 wrestling games? Now those games were fun! WWF Wrestlemania 2000 and WWF No Mercy were awesome!

You can also play as Austin vs the Rock. I watched that video then it allowed me to play as Austin vs the Rock.

I seem rubbish at this. In both games i was destroying the cpu then they hit me like twice went for the pin and won. I had literally been doing tons of moves on them without them getting a look in. Then bang bang pin. Seems broken as my player had virtually full health. I ******* those buttons as quick as i coul but pinned every time.

Yes I woke up about 30 mins ago and havent had any tea yet.
And I do agree with you

Basically Im just saying why do people feel that this game seems like a dissapointment?

I personally feel that when THQ took on the WWF/E license they made a right **** up of all their games. Certainly compared to the older classics like Wrestlefest which truly plays like an arcade game and which I think all wrestling games should feel like.

Edit: Poster above me seems to agree

Wrestlefest is just pure awesome
