I'd recommend some Monitor Audio RS6's / RSCLR / RSFX's / SVS Sub, if you wan't to spend more then look into the Gold series of MA as they are awesome. I'm nearing completion of my cinema project and I can tell you that the RS series blow me away in movies and are great for music aswell and from reading reviews, the Gold's are even better.
I'd go with an Onkyo 876 over the Pioneer, remember you're paying a premium on a lot of AV gear at these times, more so with Pioneer. Also try to get the best deal out of the dealer as you're the one spending the money! You'd be supprised what he'd find as realistic.
Maybe with the money saved on speakers / amp you can put that towards a KRP 600A. I'd deffo look into that as it's one amazing TV.
Don't forget to include all your cables / connections in your budget and try not to get caught up in brands when buying.

, even the dealer the next day told me he made no money on it (which is dealer speak for you lucky SOD you really cut into my margins, I could almost see tears in his eyes, it made me smile - am I cruel?) just glad I had confirmed the order the night before
. Many thanks in advance and not sure if this will make much of a difference to what lead I need but I would be listening to music not just watching films! A behind shot of both av receiver and subwoofer if thats any help.
