Found this out with Max earlier today, just wondering if other peoples dogs howl?

Yep our dog howls but only when he hears emergency vehicle sirens :D
A dog trainer told us he thinks the noise is pack members crying and he's answering them! :eek:
 
Mine used to howl at Emergency Sirens but he seems to have figured it all out now or gone deaf.
 
LOL :D

He talks to our lass more than he does me. When I tell him to do something he generally does it, when she does he argues with her :D

Heh that made me laugh for some reason... I wonder if that noise hurt his ears or something due to how sharp and squeaky it was and he was howling to complain? At the end he looked like he was going to run off!
 
My dog howls when he's lonely. It's a truly heartbreaking sound, I can't help but go back and cuddle him if he does that. He also howls when the telephone rings.
 
I have a feeling that hes howling due to the noise annoying him, does he do it much without the toy?

Its just the way he moves his head that makes me think the high piched toy is possibly uncomfortable to him hence the howl. Does he attack and make the toy squeek himself? if so then its probably fine :p
