Well it is GD...
Hmmm indeed, i read the story and thought to myself that she hasnt been charged so obviously Cliffy boy and his little cash cow ie Goody have made this story up to garner more public sympathy.
As ive said before i have no sympathy for Goody...i feel sorry for her kids as no kids should grow up without a mother...even if it is Jade Goody. Fair enough shes making as much money for her kids but seriously i wish she would stop now...i think shes made more than enough now for the kids.
All i know is that when she dies, i wont be paying any attention to the news or papers...ill just flick over as i dont want to hear about someone who has absolutely zero talent but yet is made out to be someone special...just because she has cancer. I mean FFS even our stupid PM mentioned her...ermm why???...shes not anyone important in the grand scheme of things is she??. I could understand if it was a world leader or someone whos made a lasting contribution to the world...but Jade Goody??...the mind absolutely boggles.
Do you read any of the newspapers that publish these stories? If so, stop reading them. If not, why are you annoyed?

Sick of hearing about her, really needs to be over now. People reading/talking/watching her really don't help the situation as they basically fuel the fire for us alll to hear about her some more.
There is a discussion about her in another thread which is very long and tedious already, which I am sure has covered all the points people have started to go OT with in here. "It's for her kids", "I'd die with dignity, etc, etc".
Regarding the actual topic of conversation in this thread; the woman has probably gone mad through the amount of unneccessary media coverage and went to finish the job off herself as the cancer clearly isn't pulling its weight.
Sorry if this seems harsh, I wouldn't wish death on anyone or their family and cancer is evil. Let's be fair though, people die of it daily. Just because she has some really vague and ridiculous connection to "being famous" she is in the news daily?

Nope, don't read anything of the sort. Yet I get hit with it whilst I have BBC news on in the morning getting ready for work...thought there might be some real news going on, like soldiers getting gunned down by millitant IRA splinter groups...but no, got greeted by a picture of a dying woman with cancer in hospital instead (which I have seen before funnily enough).
Had to find out about the other incident when I'd got to work and got the webz open!

.I think getting cross at a picture of Jade on the BBC website is excessive to say the least. They don't bother me and I don't have much care for the story.

Because she is famous. A famous person is dying slowly 'quickly'. I would be surprised if any other celebrity didn't get the same attention.

Couldnt agree more. Millions of people die from cancer all over the world and some in worse conditions and circumstances then this. I feel more sorry for her sons as they will be left with that c##k Tweed as a step dad.

That's a pointless and irrelevant argument at this point. She's talentless, but she's well known from her reality TV beginnings. A well known person who has cancer is probably going to be in the news.
The news can cater to everyone, but that means that you'll have stories that not everyone will like.
I'd be surprised if they didn't end up with their biological dad tbh, obviously time will tell.

No even that - the lady was later found to have a hammer in her possession - what an incredibly non pathetic story. Im so irritated with the media, its all so ridiculous - I mean the BBC have this in "Top Stories" WTFF
Is Jade Goody a celebrity? I don't think so... I feel bad for the woman and her family, but enough is enough.
Surely she would want privacy with her loved ones during her final moments.. but instead she is lapping up as much lime light as she can get!? I'm sure her kids, and that pathetic boyfriend of her's will have more than enough cash to "get by"... maybe they too could go on Big Brother and be in the news every day for going through something hundreds of thousands have done before.

When my Mum died of cancer some 17 years ago my whole family did loads of things to raise money for Mcmillan and Cancer Research because we were so glad of the help and support McMillan gave us. Haven't read one article on her giving anything back to the people who are helping her and the way she is milking the media in the name of her kids is absolutely shameless!!!

You'd be wrong then. She's a celebrity by definition.
She was arrested for the hammer regardless and she was obviously not supposed to be there.
Wendy Richards and George Harrison- two eminently more famous individuals both died from cancer, not suddenly. Goody/Clifford are milking this intentionally for all its worth. Die with some dignity love - its disgusting. (Its for the kids - balls, why spend £300,000 on a Wedding if its all for your kids!)
No. She was arrested for trespassing - the hammer was later found in her possession. I love how the story has been twisted to imply she was threatened with a hammer. People are so easily manipulated.
