I'm probably 700 miles from where you are - so do you seriously think I'm going to see a vapour trail up to the moon from here in the same line of sight that you do ?
(Just consider the VISIBLE horizon YOU see is totally different to the one I see - only about 25 miles before it dips out of sight - and appears at a distance of 4.7 km - so unless one of us is realatively near to you, we all see something completely different at ground level.)

Vapour trails usually go across the sky not flipping up from the ground and out into space... within a minute
