Windows Vista SP2 RC released to general public

Is there anywhere you can get an untampered ISO of vista? (Ie not cracked) as whenever I search google I get a lot of cracked versions.

Would it be possible to link to it?

Thanks.

maybe, but it's pointless as it's not final.

without some sort of MSDN access, there's no fully legal way to obtain an iso.

just wait for the Final SP2 iso to be released, wait for the md5 hash to appear online, then use your imagination

for the record, that website linked above whilst it's laid out in a blog style, it has so many illegal things on it

Any news on if the final SP2 will be slipstreamable with Vista SP1 disks?

I seem to remember that the original SP1 wasn't slipstreamable, hence question.

i had no idea that you could not slip stream, i guess you will just be able to download a new iso from the ms site?

Thought I'd install RC2, but now I get

sp2.jpg

in the right hand corner of my screen, is this normal?

Sytem shows that my Vista is activated and genuine.

That's fine, I had that for months and months when I used SP1 RC.

It will go away when you install the normal SP2.

Right so Installed the release candidate and have now had a major issue. Windows has unactivated itself and now I've lost the ability to activate again. Ever since the RC has been installed I have suffered BSOD and other problems... Anyone else suffered or might it just be a bad conincidence? Time to reinstall vista though!

i have been running SP2 since beta 1 and had no problems with it

"SP2 includes ability to record data to Blu-Ray Disc media."

does this mean in a roundabout way that native support for playback now works?

edit - okay it appears not.
