My first PC game was Commander Keen 1. It rocked. One of the few games I've ever actually bothered to complete

I remember the Crusader games (Crusader: No Remorse & Crusader 2:No Regret), they were good.

First game I played on a PC (As opposed to a home computer) would have been when I started work (Late 1986).

Probably Alley Cat or Leaderboard, can't remember which was first.

My old man bought a 286 and i bought 4d Sports Boxing and Life or Death (i think it was called) where you had to do operations.

These were my first actual pc games.

Closely followed by Half-Life on a newly bought Voodoo 3 2000. I got Unreal Tournament pretty soon after that as well.

My first game was probably at school playing Granny's Garden on the BBC, or at home playing Penetrator on the Spectrum ZX

Probably not, I played Collosal Cave Adventure on a Wang WP Network and that game dates back to 1976. I guess thats the oldest game I have played, if not the first.

Hmm, what happened there then? I recall seeing a fps on a gaming TV show, which no longer airs, a few years back where they had photo realistic graphics. It never saw the light of day though. That was about the time that Half life 2 came out.

I remember when I first heard the intro to that game on my ST I couldn't believe my ears. Up untill that point the most I'd heard from a game was various levels of beep on a BBC model B. Game was awesome for the time too.
