I sold a processor on ebay in the last week and shipped it special delivery on wednesday. It was packaged in a proper cpu box and then another box with several inches of foam around the cpu box. Buyer has received the item today but is now claiming that they took the processor to a "cpu store" and that some of the "rods" are bent and that one is snapped off. This obviously wasnt the case went I sent the processor and I have pictures to prove this, so it's either been damaged in transit, by the buyer or in this cpu store.
Am I about to get screwed over do you think? I've no problem claiming for an item damaged in transit. I can only presume that it's been damaged after opening or I'm going to get a different processor back as a return( I have the serial of the one I sent and it's listed in the auction with a clear picture).
Lesson 1 learned - Dont sell processors on ebay.
