On a micra with 31k:

Tyres inc tracking- £210 (they are stupid low profile ones, I don't even have alloys!)
Service - £50 as did myself - Got a big service coming up at Easter which I will do half of it myself.
Break pads and disks £88 - (My fault as I wore all the way through my pads and needed new disks!)
Headlight - £45 (My fault, I cracked it!)
Gearstick spring - £9 fitted!

Had the car 3.5 years and it is 8.5 years old. Not bad really:) About as cheap as motoring gets. I cannot afford a new car I am still in education and as it refuses to break it seems silly changing it.

Bought it 2nd hand and only because the previous owner must have worn rings and the stock knob was a mess.
