Isn't very hard as Britain really, starting a new game as Prussia.
That's because we have Sharpe

and Horatio Hornblower and "Lucky" Jack Aubrey

Isn't very hard as Britain really, starting a new game as Prussia.
Anyone actually completed either campaigns yet?
I started on global domination mission first, lol. I'm up to 1780 i think.
I own the americas, carribean, and about to start on Europe.
Is there a time limit? Does the clock keep going? My criteria was world domination only.
How do you steal technology? I missed the explanation.
Good game, I enjoy it, but I'm having the same trouble as with the other total war games in that the strategic elements feel very basic. Compared to the EU games, theres just nothing to it.
The battles of course, are very enjoyable. When certain strategies, like ambushes and out-flanking work, the results are a lot of fun.
Taking heavily fortified cities is still my favourite type of battle, though it can get stressful at time, like when my stupid infantry refuse to fire.
Dear All,
I'd just like to add that we're watching all the threads reporting bugs and issues and feeding these into our own testing and patching process.
As we said recently another patch will be released early next week, which addresses several critical problems and more are planned beyond that point.
The reason we dont list every detail a patch will cover is because some problems, when investigated, turn out to require longer to fix and get moved into the next patch cycle.
Therefore we don't list ahead of time everything that will be fixed. Equally sometimes smaller issues get fixed very quickly and are included at the last minute.
Again, our thanks to those of you who are highlighting issues with politeness and patience, we're working hard not only to correct outstanding problems but to expand Empire's playability too.
Kind regards,
Kieran
Please have faith in us. The campaign AI team are fixing invasions and other issues. The battle team is fixing fort pathfinding and naval avoidance and boarding etc. The sound team are fixing sound issues and the graphics team are fixing display issues. We've fixed the video problems. We do have a presence on these boards contrary to what has been said. I have posted a number of times.
This isn't the Medieval II team, this is the Empire team and we'll deliver patches via steam quicker than for any previous total war game. Yes we recognise steam has created it's fair share of problems for some people but one great advantage of steam is we can get fixes to you much quicker.
I can't give you a list of every fix that's been done, because I don't have a definitive list, that is forthcoming.
been thinking about geting this heard horror storys about the bugs tho (people playing for over 100 turns but crashing everytime so they cant progress)
any major patches been out yet?
Post itTurned around, saw the rest of his troops 50 yards behind him and then ran back. Made me chuckle - I got a screenshot of the little dork![]()

That was good fun - thoroughly enjoyed myself. I think it was a couple of lucky points which won me that game though. I think 2v2 and 4v4 would be fun - we should get a little team together and try someAnyone online and fancy a mp game? Just played pookie and lost horribly if it helps![]()
I just checked and I didn't have Fraps onPost it![]()
I'm really not sure what I should be researching to best serve my Empire, I'm only 11 years into the short campaign, so definitely in need of some guidance.
