**EMPIRE TOTAL WAR**

Mate I just custom battle a lot and play online with all Total war games. I tried the campaign and it was real slow and I didnt have a clue what to do.

I did get in to a little bit thou, but I for got it all now !!!
 
Haha, France has fallen to me!
It was a close fought battle, but my outnumbered troops overcame the old enemy.

Now I've got to try and get rid of all those Catholic preachers walking around sowing discord amongst my new peoples.
 
Indeed. I spawned one rake in the first few turns, which I accidently sent to his death in the same turn. It's only now, 50 turns later that I've started spawning them again. This is after having erected a couple more entertainment buildings.

Ive had trouble connecting to other peoples multiplayer games 'the host didn't respond', however seem to be able to host my own fine.
 
Oh this game does look good :)

Downloaded the demo - was a lot of fun even though i'm not that into the real time battles - prefer the campaign map :p

Ran pretty smoothly on High settings.. though I had a lot of stutters when I moved around.. only about 1-2 secs but it got quite irritating..

For those who've got the full game - what's the campaign map like compared to MTW2 for example?

Hmmm, I appear to have got stuck on the RtI campaign. Episode II, I've captured the French town and wiped them off the map, but I can't seem to continue to the next episode? I've just taken over the Iriquois settlements too, and that's made no difference. Bug, or am I missing something?

Sounds like its bugged somehow, when you take the french town the area to the north is supposed to open up with 2 more french towns that you are then told you must capture. (still in episode II)

Bugger - looks like I'll be replaying Ep II then :(
 
Iam on 1789 and need 15 more regions. Like the management aspect of the game better than mtw2. even with the bugs and ctd i still think this is the best game out on pc atm.
