Basically im trying to loose weight and trying to find more "healthier" cereals. Is there some sort of list avalible that shows which are the worse than others?

I understand musli and porridge are the best but are are there any of the main brands (crunchy nut, cheerios etc) that are more acceptable?

Cheers

Nope, just buy cheap supermarket porridge oats, bung it in the microwave, away you go.

Weetabix is also decent slow release stuff for just before a workout/race.

Buy scottish fine oats from Myprotein or similar. just drink em down. much faster than having to eat stodgy porridge. yuk! :D

Or, if you're feeling adventurous, make something other than cereal

Poached egg on wholemeal toast
Sardenes on wholemeal Toast
Tuna mayo (v light) wholemeal pita (my fav)
Scrambled egg on wholemeal toast
Omelette

Think outside the box :D

I find eating cereal, porridge for example just makes me gassy. :o Prefer having food in the morning, like eggs and grilled sausage.

edit: Just realised, I don't have much of a point really. :p

For quick breakfast I blend 100g of oats in water with some whey, this is if I wake up late.

If I have a bit more time , scrambled eggs on toast, or some tuna with toast and a bit of mayo + sweetcorn . Wholemeal of course ;)

Thought it was going to be for a cereal in general. If so then i would vote for Chocolate Crunchy Nut Clusters every time.

Flipping lovely stuff, though the box is too small as i can only get 3 bowl-fulls out of a box :(

Porridge oats with some chopped fresh fruit is a great, healthy start to the day. So is Bircher muesli.

Tuna mayo in the morning?!? *bleurgh*

I'll say the same thing to you as I do to those who struggle to eat breakfast; Takes a bit of getting used to.

I always eat fish in the morning. Especially those rich in omegas. Sardines/Mackarel on toast/pita bread is a fav.

I'm really struggling to eat breakfast in the mornings at the moment, I wish I could sort it out.
