I have had my new tele for about 2 months and on the black part of the tele i see lots of light scratches in certain places when i look carefully. Has anybody else noticed this? I think it's because of the cloth that came with it, i use it to clean it when it's dusty! Annoying lol.

Probably from the dust, if you've wiped the TV with part of the cloth that has already been used. Same goes for the PS3, scratches extremely easily.

I've only dusted mine twice so it's not scratched as far as I can see. Also my Samsung monitor with the same kind of finish doesn't appear to be scratched and I have dusted/cleaned it with numerous types of cloths.

No scratches on either my big Samsung TV or my Samsung Monitor and I use the lint free cloths that came with both of those.

Although, you seem to end everything with "lol", so perhaps holding back on the laughter may prevent scratches in the future.

Mine is a huge dust magnet along with the glossy black PS3, I have floor to ceiling glass windows along the one side of my apartment and when the sun comes up in the morning you can really see how dusty it is, I should really clean it.

We have a Samsung TV and the glossy finish does nothing but attract dust.

Bloody hate the thing

same here, i tried to use a cloth once but it seemed to make the dust worse so i now settle for blasting it off with a can of that air stuff which seems to work ok. I haven't noticed any scratches anywhere, do the same for my PS3 also.

Mine is also a huge dust magnet but no scratches as of yet. Has anyone noticed their speakers going rubbish after a while? Ive had mine a year and it starded to get really tinny vibration noises at bassy bits. Had to get additional speakers and use the in the headphone output.

glossy dell monitor and tele, Dust magnets..

Got a scratch down my tele (grr) and my daughter has just used a pen or a pencil and drawn all over it (bigger GRR) Any Ideas how to get the marks off. Ive used the screen clean and my cloth but its still left some marks?

I used to a Sony NWA-3000 a few years ago and it was a scratch magnet...I used to have a tub of polycarbonate cleaner which would remove the hairline scratches.

Tesco do a pack of three Tesco Value microfibre cloths for about 45p. These are perfect for wiping down any IT or TV equipment and leave no scratches.

Yeah we're the same, our Samsung 42" and my PS3 seem to attract so much dust - I usually end up hoovering it with the little brush attachment and that seems to do the trick. Doesn't leave scratches either :)
