Mountain Dew to return?

I know there are quite a few Dew fans on here. Just read this: http://www.marketingmagazine.co.uk/news/855193/Pepsi-rolls-700m-global-brand-makeover which suggests that Mountain Dew is coming back to the UK. The news is a few months old now, but Pepsi haven't launched the brand makeover yet so it could still be good information. Will be great news - much as I appreciate American Soda's efforts, it'll be good to be able to pop down to Tesco for a bottle.

I used to love Mountain Dew, can't for the life of me remember what it tastes like now though.

If you're me it's like a sweeter, more flavoursome version of Sprite. It's the green nectar of the Gods.

When it was last sold here I believe it was a "watered down" version of the US drink, It definitely didn't taste anywhere near as nice as the imported stuff

but if it does come to the uk again, wont most of the chemicals that make it awesome be taken out for the uk market? i remember the american mountain dew tasting a hell of a lot better than the uk stuff they used to sell over here.

They sell it in the shop down road from where I am now...might pick up a few cans when I go for my dinner :cool:
