Weekend Footy - 21st-22nd March **SPOLERS**

Agree with the above but it's an equally poor result for Everton who could've really put the pressure on Arsenal and Villa for that fourth spot.

Crouch is awesome :D

its unsurprising tbh, Saha while is still pure quality is still coming back from injury, Joe is past his 3 games at a new club making the fans love him and did very little of note and by far their best creative player in Arteta is sorely sorely missed. The number of times Everton just whacked it forward without really playing through the midfield was a joke, same for pompie tbh. THing is Everton with a ludicrously injury hit squad throughout the year are doing very very well, they are relatively safe and really have no chance to pressure 4th so motivationally wise they've got little to play for, well enough to not lose their place and thats all they've got to play for.

Completely the opposite the whole Pompie squad are wanting to stay up and fight for their lives, not to mention their paychecks which will most likely get cut if relegated with a large portion of the squad not having a chance at being bought by other prem teams. Managers like crouch, Krancjar is quality, other than that not much there tbh, James I guess.

is the spurs game delayed for something?

I don't see how Crouch is good either, the first goal was from a bogus corner, ok he took it well but point blank range up against a midget while you're 9"68 isn't exactly difficult. Likewise the second goal, pretty easy for him though Jacobsen on the line ignored it completely. Lucky to get either goals and did little to nothing worthwhile the rest of the game.

From another forum:

Whole of the Park Lane (stand, road and flats) been evacuated because police have reason to be suspicious of a mini bus parked there.

(texted by someone at the ground)

delayed till 3.30 apparently, latest i heard was problem with surrounding roads with both bomb/package and a gasleak rumours of the problem, no idea which. #

How long into the Utd game was it till SCholes got his first foul, 10 seconds? already close to a booking :p why did they decide to drop Rooney aswell as Tevez, Rooney was really the single player against Pool to play well IMHO, he actually got the ball passed it to team mates and tried all game long, others did nothing right the whole game. Weren't Utd simply doing better with Tevez benched, not only the team but even Tevez played better when he had few games to play and lets be honest, mostly against crap sides in the cups where he went into overdrive. Since he's been getting more games in the league he seems worse.

Fergie seems to be making large scale changes between every game and that can only hurt them eventually, a settled side with one/two changes for resting players at this point in the season seems like the way to go. They are really playing like they aren't used to the team because it changes every week pretty dramatically. Rooney on the wing last game, Ronaldo upfront this game, its odd.

lllllololol, it seemed about 7 seconds in that Scholes was gonna be off :p

what was he thinking, you're better off conceding than giving away a almost certain to be scored penalty and leave a hurting Man U a man and a goal down.

Very nice penalty aswell. utterly retarded.

Maybe it's instinct, I dont know but surely its better to give the goal away and keep it at 11 v 11 than give a pen away and go 10 v 11 and still end up a goal down
