Why does every MMO have to have a **** UI that looks exactly like that
If it works why get rid of it?
Every MMO I've played has had a similar sort of design yes, I've tried mods to get rid of it but I always seem to go back to the original design. In fact in darkfall it's quite minimal since most windows dissapear when you go into combat mode.
This is a direct control MMO yes? you aim, move etc. rather than point and click? Looks pretty epic, not bothered about gfx, smooth, massive fights are where it should be

From what I've played so far (no epic sieges) the game is 99% stable with the odd character moving jerky. At the start things were a little laggy with mob's not functioning correctly but it's really smooth now.
and yes, It's in first person and 3rd person. you have to aim your hits a bit like an FPS.It truly is a fantastic game but I can't stress enough that it isn't a game you can play on your own as it gets boring and frustrating quite quickly.
thats the highest res textures you can get? i thought you had turned your settings down for some epic siege

Put it this way - given the choice between Age of Conan's abortion of a city siege system and this, I'd pick the ugly sister any time
There isnt much excuse for an ugly game these days though. Seems a bit lazy to me. Everything looks superimposed and floating of the ground.

but cmon look up daoc screenshots even that old classic had higher res textures
Sposestill think it looks cool though. ie. what's happening looks cool, the textures do look naff.
it does look pretty cool and the actual wall looks ok but the armor textures make me think my monitor needs a clean its like im looking at them through a dirty mark on my monitor
I'm struggling to get into it tbh, still a super noob at teh starting area. You prolly right you need a friendly guild to join to make it fun, I haven't been able to muster up the will to stay on long enough to work out whats going on. All I know is ever tie I kill a goblin some **** tea leafs me loot
