Guys, this is annoying me now. Is there anyway when I enter a match just to have the overview view? So basically just the text in the middle of the screen?

I'm sick of it starting like the below image and me having to exit the pitch view. I've disabled the 2d/3d view in preferences.

Yeah you can choose to just watch it in the overview :)

there should be a little list in the bottom left corner, you need to turn highlights off, and there should be an option to watch the match overview :)
 
Left FM on over night again :(.

Want to try not spend next season but realized might need a new DL, but do i use a youth as the main one, or spend the cash?
 
Were you on football manager over night ? :p

I'd bring through youth if I were you, as long as he's going to be able to do a good job and is going to grow into a good player, no reason not to start him.
 
I've had it running in the back ground today, * just gotta be careful who looks at my pc screen ;) * I clock up way to many hours on this game :(
 
The LEGENDARY list

I've been bored today so have decided to make a list of the top 5 LEGENDARY players in each position.

Rules:

1. This is from the start of game, future potential is irrelevant
2. Money, age and other factors are not taken into account
3. Player is placed at their best position (imo) and once selected cannot be included for another position
4. I didn't do wing backs or sweeper because i felt the list would have too much overlap.
5. Real life ability is irrelevant, this is just on FM form
