Question for you all.

I'm getting a USB Head Unit for the car and was wonder if by plugging the 5800 in and selecting Mass Storage Device would it see it as a USB stick?

Would be awesome if it did.

should do, when you plug a cable into the phone you can select mass storage device or pc suite and all that.

I've just been offered a fre 5800, 600 mins 500 texts and unlimited web for £25 on O2 for 18 months.

Tried to sell me it for £35, but for being a "loyal" customer i get a £10 discount!! yay me!
So i guess everyone who threatens to leave is a "loyal" customer

Does look great. Tried it but cant get it to load from the phone. I also have an Opera Widgets application installed to that came with the package.

Any ideas whats going wrong?

Just updated the firmware on my vodafone version. The screen rotation doesn't seem any faster than before, it was supposed to have been speeded up in this version. Or is it just me?

No update for everyone on T-Mobile for now.

Finally got Opera Mini working. Got it from mini.opera.com (using the standard) browser.

It seems that its not built for the 5800

No zoom function, cant do a page overview either. Plus theres no setting on there that I can find to set the connection I want. It always asks me what I want to connet to, WLAN etc.

When someone calls me who is in my address book, their name isn't shown on the screen, just their phone number shows. Anyone know how to change this? Had a look in the manual and faffed around with the phone settings but can't seem to find it.

so its arrived early, really pleased with it, apart from fring what apps are people using? im very new to good phones ie my last phone was a n73 and was really slow! so this is snappy and i want to play......

I've noticed that happens if the number is associated with more than one person, for example the home number for my mum and dad is the same so when one of them calls from it only the number comes up.
