I lowered the prices to the point that I was hardly making a profit. 1 of my stalls sold 2 items but the rest remained with 0 customers. I'll try again tonight and leave it a few months.

The strange thing is, guests are going right up to the shop then walking off.

They're not hungry, it'll take a while and quite a few rides till they get hungry.
Or when they get sick and puke, afterwards they get hungry and thirsty, those buggers who puke on your paths are actually the best food/drinks customers. Also I noticed you have various food shops so early ingame, for the early game 1 food and 1 drink stand is really enough. In fact until you get at least 200 guests, in my experience food and drinks are not worth it.

I'm on scenerio 3 now , flower or something is it better to have shops at the start , middle or end of a park?

Was doing the Katie's Dreamland scenario in the first game, fixed the problems with the two existing, crashing rollercoasters the park already had, even turned the main one into a dual racer. Added tons of rides, coasters, and the like, even got awarded "Best Rollercoasters". One month from completion of the scenario the game crashed on me, and because I can't save, there's no way of getting it back.

Interesting topic, because I've had RC3 + expansions for about a year now (patched to current), and I hardly played it past the tutorials, I found it so boring once the glitz wore off.

Can anyone tell me exactly what's so much better about the second effort? I like those sort of games but RC3 had me look elsewhere. I'd like to get into RC2, but I've been slightly burned.
