Am i an alcoholic?

I think it's only called binge drinking if you stop.

Stella tastes like Fosters with added washing up liquid (I'm convinced that there's soap in it).

Stella is less watery than other lagers.

It has an extra strenghtener in it - carling tends to be fizzy water with no head.
Fosters is just urine.
Carlsberg is a cross between Carling and Fosters
and Stella is the nectar of the gods.

Mind you, when I have a session on it, and mates try to drink stella, they all struggle the next day - I have 5 good friends who can drink it, but have massive hangovers the next day - more so than drinking other lagers. I think that the problem is they dont realise Stella is typically stronger than other beers.

You need to try Belgium beers, will make stella taste like ****water :p

Duvel for the win - it's worth buying it just to see if you can pour it with a head less than 6 inches tall!

But everything you have quoted is the mass produced rubbish acceptable to the British due to apathy. Get something with flavour down you like Zyviec, Kozel, Duvel, Budvar or even Tyskie.

I went to a a bar in York last year and the barmaid showed me a pouring technique int he proper glass where you just flip it 180 degrees and pour it upside down. In my case all over the bar. Then a round later, she insinuated I was trying to date rape my girlfriend by buying her one when she was staggering!

What's the point of drinking on your own? It just makes doing stuff that you'd typically do on your own (watching TV, playing computer games, masturbating furiously) harder.

Yes, but when you're drinking with other people you can't tell an online forum how much you've drunk  a missed oppurtunity so to speak.

Are you an alcoholic? No, if you that wasted where you go num? lol, and have a hangover today then i take it you never drink or only just started.....

I hardly ever drink, but what you drank is what id have before i leave to go out :s

And why are you getting wasted on your own anyway? You should be more worried about that reason, are you depressed?

I love the way a "Am I an alcoholic :(?" thread has turned in to a discussion about which beer's best.

Agreed, Stella is the only lager I will drink.

If I go in a pub for a drink and they dont serve stella on tap or bottles then I leave and find a better pub.

That surely means there aren't many pubs that you need to leave then since I can't think of any round here that don't carry Stella in some form and I'd assume England isn't so different in that regard. One of the benefits of drinking a common (if not particularly good) lager is you don't struggle to find a pint of it, about the same reason why I drink Tennents - not incidentally the variation between a 'good' and 'bad' pint of Tennents is minimal which helps.

Well the OP doesn't appear to need any help in this regard (and it would be a medical thread if they did) so we obviously move onto one of the forums favourite pastimes, that of being a beer snob. :D

I love the fact that no matter how "drunk" people get, they can always remember how many drinks they've had AND how many units is in each. :p

lol, not the case with me. Once i get to a certain point my vision starts blacking out and I wobble all over the place till i find somewhere to sleep. Worst scenario was when i woke up at 9am legs hanging off the bed face up completely naked with window open and door open. Bearing in mind i live on a bottom floor room. I never heard about that from anyone i know, so i kept quiet :p
