We're now well and truly at the business end of the season. The CL is about to get serious with no real gaps between games from now on. The PL is closer than it perhaps should be, and many people are tipping Liverpool to overhaul United at the top. The FA cup is down to four teams, and these four teams are probably in the top 5 teams in the country.

So, with two months of the season remaining, who's going to win what? Who's going down? What player is going to end the season on a high?

Premier League - Going to stick my neck out and say we'll hold on to this. At no point during this season have I been particularly worried about Liverpool (simply because it's Liverpool) but one more slip up and I may start to wonder ;)

Champions League - Based on the draw, I'm putting my money on United, Liverpool or Barcelona. I think Liverpool will probably knock Barca out if they get past Chelsea though. However with the QF second leg being at Stamfrod bridge who knows.

FA Cup - Not a clue really, Fergie may put out a second string team and Everton will probably beat us. I'd probably say this is more important to Arsenal and Chelsea this year and can see one of those two taking it. This is the last game of the season this year though, so the two teams in the final will no doubt go hell for leather.

Player/s - I fancy Rooney to have a good end to the season, it'd be nice to see him get some important goals for us in big games. Can see Gerrard continuing his good form until the end as well, and Drogba will no doubt start playing now things are getting important.

Ooooh...thats tough !! Especially with things being so tight at the moment.

Erm...ok...let see.

Premier League - Liverpool or United. Just too close to call at the moment, although the ball is firmly in Uniteds court currently, but anything can yet happen.

Champions League - Going to go with Liverpool or United on this too, I think they are both too strong in europe for anyone else.

FA Cup - Chelsea - I think Chelsea will wrap this up with the biggest desire to get it as some silverware this year.

Player ending the season on a high - Robbie Keane, minutes after he scores the goal in the final game of the season against Liverpool which costs Liverpool the league title and running up to laugh in Benitez face.

I definately dont want that to happen, but you know...football has a funny way of these things coming true.

Not sure why I've suddenly developed this confidence in Arsenal but I can see them grabbing the FA cup. However, though not entirely confident on them winning it, I see them in the Chapions league final. ManU/Porto and Villareal just dont seem that much of a threat.

CL - Manchester United
PL - Manchester United
FA Cup - Manchester United / Arsenal
Relegation - Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom ( don't mind who else goes down as long as Stoke go down )

Promotion - Wolves, Reading ( don't want Birmingham to go up ), Burnley

Sheffield Wednesday - Mid table finish, finally get a take over, some money, players back fit, new staff, new players, ground + training + youth given a much needed upgrade.

CL - Manchester United
PL - Manchester United
FA Cup - Arsenal
Relegated - West Brom, Newcastle, Middlesbrough

Champ Promotion - Wolves, Reading, Birmingham

Fergie to win the double and retire having knocked Liverpool off their ****ing perch, sell Giggs to Cardiff, Scholes to Oldham, O'**** to Cork Ramblers.

I too will go for United. Liverpool will not win all their remaining games. This 2 week break is the best thing that could have happened. 4 weeks if you include the 2 nothing performances against Liverpool and Fulham :p.

Liverpool or Man Utd for the Champions League. I don't think Barcelona's defence can out do an English team and I think both Liverpool or Chelsea are very capable defensively, more so Liverpool with their back line 6 being very difficult to break down and their route 1 football will definitely cause problems for Barcelona, this was Pique's weakness at Man Utd, Puyol is incredibly slow and Alves will be too far up the pitch. I say Man Utd because we got incredibly lucky with the draw.

Relegated - West Brom, Newcastle, Middlesbrough

I'll go for this too.

Arsenal for this. They just look a little more rigid as if they're really fighting for something since Cesc got injured.

Rooney? Really? He's been really quite awful this year. I hope of our players Carrick snaps out of his phase, he's been abysmal since the first Inter Milan leg and our performances have really suffered the consequences because of it.

CL - barcelona
PL - Manchester United
FA Cup - Chelsea
Relegated - West Brom, middlesbrough , blackburn

its all very very variable, obviously though.

Liverpool aren't that great defensively, just recently the teams haven't offered any attacking threat. man U were pitiful as were Villa, Barca might be weakish defensively but you have to remember that Torres most of the team will have played against for several years and know all about. Gerrard is the only other real threat and in all likelyhood they will score. But Liverpool without home advantage(dive and its a penalty) will get ripped to shreds by a completely in form Eto'o, Messi and Henry. This isn't the same Barca of a the last couple years with Messi missing quite a lot of games, Henry with zero form and zero threat and Eto'o being dropped constantly for the big name but utter crap form Ronaldinho, frankly that front 3 at the moment can score a lot against any defence. I put that team offensively to outscore Gerrard on his own basically, with ease.

Arsenal, we've drawn a shocking amount of games, while not losing we've conceded to any half decent team and only kept clean sheets against goal shy teams(in general) like fulham and the like and been unable to score against solid defenses.

Our recent run of "wins" Blackburn, Newcastle, West Brom, cardiff, Burnley, and I honestly can't remember but I think we conceded to all but Cardiff? hardly FA cup, or anything else winning form.(EDIT:- blackburn was a clean sheet aswell me thinks)

The one thing is, I think Villa's form with Heskey out of the team might improve dramatically, other than an easy victory in his first game Villa have been turd since then with him starting all/most games. With Carew and Gabby together without a lame duck Heskey they could easily push on for 4th again with Arsenal against real teams conceding more than we can score, especially if Ade is picked to start again.

Newcastle should stay up over blackburn who are truly terrible, if Owen makes a come back and can score a few I can't see them not getting above blackburn, however without Owen it could be either team. Also depends if Bassong/Taylor are out for long or not.
