Hi guys;

Assuming milk is pretty much the perfect bodybuilding food (in terms of nutrient ratios), if an individual were, say, to drink 8 pints of milk a day which would be

2000kcals
200g carbs
100 ish carbs

would that be a good base for a clean bulking diet? I, obviously wouldn't do this exactly. But what would be the problem of having, say, 4 pints a day? Any health concerns about this?

Proposed diet;

Breakfast - Oats with milk and protein shake
mid snack - pint of milk/whey shake
Lunch - 2x Wholemeal bread, pint milk, perhaps another protein source (6 egg whites)
snack -
Main meal - Pasta/Rice/oats/ and protein source/glass milk
Pre bed - quark

Obviously with some fruit/veggies thrown in there..any problems with doing this?

I work out the macros to be;

200g protein
250 ish carbs
100 protein
Moderate fats (assuming semi-skimmed milk)

Many thanks.

The only immediate problem I see is that your sourcing almost all of your protein from shakes, or what I class as liquids, egg whites and obviously milk to an extent. A healthy balanced diet, needs to be just that, balanced.

Do you not eat meat!? Some meat in those two peices of wholemeal wouldn't kill you. I don't really know a lot if im honnest, but the only thing that strikes me is the absence of meat.

Im sure someone more helpful will be along shortly:)

I think KK did a diet that was based around lots of milk. Plenty of fat to take in (full fat stuff) though.

not sure where KK is lately, he would be able to give more info :/

Of course I eat meat :p Though it is, in comparison to milk, very expensive, and just one part of a full meal; milk will act as more of a MRP.

Morba, you're right I didn't update it. It's a bit late now but I will do it, I will have to dig out the diary, but I will definitely do it :)

Also, yes, I've noted the absence of KK. Hmm.

I think he called it the squat and milk routine or something lol, one of those funny ones that he was given to do while bulking off season iirc.

Clipsey - if you see this, prod KK, you speak to him more than the rest of us :p
