Scott Mills (Radio 1) really winds me up...

what's occuring game, they stopped that nooo, thats soofunny/annoying i say that to my m8 in that accent it really winds him up lol

ohh what's occuring.

How anyone can develop such a hate for someone on the radio is beyond me. I don't mind Moyles and Mills, its pretty harmless and they're not trying too hard to please everone. If you don't like it then play a cd or listen to another station. Simple really.

If things like 'off of' and saying 'love you' after every call annoy you so much you want to stab an old lady I suggest you seek mental help.

Kiss is utter trash, the same songs through the day all day everyday, i'm sure loads of people love it but I don't so I don't even bother listening. I burn my podcasts for the week on cd and play them if I find nothing on the radio :)

Mills show is so much better when chappers aint there!

kiss classics is great (if still done), beats Jo Whiley!

The Zane Lowe show is the only thing worth listening to on Radio 1.
Totally true. That guy is full of energy and he's all about music.

Mills is a bit of a nobber. He's getting on a bit now too - I imagine most of his audience are half his age or there about.

I switched off the radio when he began using a new form of grammar "off of". It drove me insane.
I find this annoying too. Not only is it grammatically incorrect, it sounds so downright stupid too!

I've even heard him say it in the past when referring to a town where somebody lives, "Now we're going to speak to so-and-so off of Bristol". Er.... what?!?

tbh, i don't mind him, or moyles

the afternoon lot seem to be pretty thick, but they get me home :)

"Off of" is an Americanism. Another reason to hate it.

That's a bit of a leap isn't it (although I'm aware you are probably meaning it as a joke)? Unless you've deleted some comment already. I find Scott Mills desperately, excruciatingly unfunny most of the time and it has nothing to do with his sexual proclivities - as long as it is between two (or more) consenting adults I couldn't give a flying one what they do in the privacy of their own homes. If Scott Mills were to be taken off the radio tomorrow it wouldn't cause me a moments distress, while we're at it can we bin Chris Moyles too as he is almost as unfunny.

You know, (somehow) most people don't even realise he's a gayer!

I quite like listening to Scott Mills, find him much more entertaining than Chris Moyles, but then again I'm generally not in the car for very long so only get a short listen of either.

Besides there is always CD's if either one gets boring and/or annoying.
