The golden hour or oh, what's occuring? TBH I dont get home til 6.30 at the earliest since I started a new job in Jan, so yesterday was the first time I've heard Scott Mills since then.

Scott Mills is definitely preferable to Zane Lowe, I can't stand him! He tries to be really edgy and interesting with the music he plays but most of it is utter ****. The only decent thing he has done is the master records that he does once a year where he goes through 4 classic albums without any breaks.
...and Scott Mills plays decent tracks? Riiiiggghtt...
No, but she is commercial and is ****.

having just switched on the radio, I've remembered that I hate Jo Whiley the most. She always seems to be up on her high horse.
I only like the breakfast show. Mainly as they all seem to be having a good laugh together.
Don't get me started on Jo Whiley. Almost as bad as Lisa I'Anson. Thinks she's great but really isn't anything more than an aging hag who wants to remain 16 for ever.
Scott I can bare for the 25 minutes on the way home. Some of his gimicks are annoying however I do like the wonder years.

Lisa I'Anson! When was it you last listened to Radio 1? She's not been there since 1999 when she got fired for missing shows in Ibiza, probably due to being frazzled out of her brain.

Oh, and Scott Mills is like children's television on the radio.
About 3 hours ago. I was refering to how annoying I find JW. Lisa 'I love myself' I'Anson was the only person I could think of who annoys me more.

I doubt it, I'm only 21! I just think that some of the new indie and rock stuff is pretty average tbh. Maybe I just like the commercial stuff too much, would prefer to listen to mainstream music like Kings of Leon and some of the classic stuff like Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Beatles, Oasis (older stuff) etc than a lot of the new rock/indie which is, in my opinion, lacking in talent and a bit average.
Everyone has old favourites but there's so much great new music. Thing is, music is so rich and diverse and the whole point of Zane Low is to show case new artists so you can't expect to like everything. Personally I love his show, though I laugh at his enthusiasm (it's his act). I don't expect to like all of the music on there but love the opportunity to listen to new alternative music on mainstream radio station. That has to be the best thing about the BBC, how else would we hear this stuff.
