Kid Slaps His Mom To Show Her How It Feels

Err, LOL WTF? Autistic children can display signs of advanced educational behaviour far beyond their years. That is one of the signs of spotting autism at an early age. Look for the kid actually structuring his approach to toy challenges and interaction with children.

YEs... advanced intellectual dispalys involving inanamate objects.. one of the hallmarks of autism is an inability to communicate and socialise with other people. Eye contact and articulate speech are the first things to go.

I think as R&W said, the condition can vary wildly. I once dealt with a 14 year old autistic child who displayed no signs of communicational difficulty whatsoever, maybe with the exception of eye contact. But the things she used to say where just beyond comprehension. Her communication skills were very much in tact.

sorry but thats not true at all. a lot of autustic kids an communcate with other people just fine but some cant see things from anything other than their own perspective and get extremely frustrated if they dont get their own way.

the symptoms vary so much from case to case though.

I don't agree with hitting children, but I don't agree with children hitting their parents.

This child seems intelligent, Think he's stupid for hitting his mother.

I have to agree, I thought he was Autistic.

I don't agree with parents hitting their kids, not so much because I'm worried it'll injure them, but because I'm very afraid it'll teach them that violence is a way to solve problems. That's a sentiment that gets passed around a lot, but I don't think many people realise the scale of the problem. That kid was intelligent and arguing well for his age. The slap got a point across and didn't hurt the woman, and I think it was a point well made.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Watched 4 minutes and packed it in. Hard to know who's lying about the other from what I saw. Still not acceptable for him to belt his mum, which was clearly documented.

Was there any mention of a father? Wouldn't mind betting he's not on the scene.

yes i know a lot about autisim actually and the condition varies wildly. some cant communicate at all and some are just like the kid in this video.

Yes it does vary a great deal. But if it's mild enough to be able to maintain eye contact and communicatation as well as that child then it's a barely registerable form of autism. Great intellectual feats are generally the exclusive domain of the most severely affected... with only a few notable exceptions.

I have plenty of experiance of my own with autism, and any child that can make eye contact and engage in a useful conversation, or especially an argument is not severely autistic.

Von, it said she's a single mother, don't think it mentioned what happened to the father though.

Seems too played out to me, saw the kid glance at the camera a few times and the long drawn out sentances from a 10 year old?!

Weird show either way

i didnt say it was severe.

i was surprised by how articulate he is too.
Yup.

He really does come across as a spoilt little so and so, though. I think it would have benefited him to go and live with some other people for a while - it would have taught him what he had in the first place when he couldn't say those sort of things to other adults.

If I ever did that to my mum she would beat me. If she told me to do something, I'd listen and do it. She was harsh and did slap me a fair few times when I did wrong. But now, looking back at it, I thank her for what she did. I thank her I haven't grown up to be a **** like many other people my age. And when she did hit me, she did it for a reason, it didn't stop me loving her any less. :)

Old video but... The mother never breaks eye contact and she stutters on some event recalls and shows no emotion - she was lying on camera here and the kid was telling the truth about what she said before the show and how she hits him and makes his nose bleed etc. You can see the fury her eyes during the first video.

Granted both of them are tards and need better skills at being a parent and child but OH MAN was she full of lies there.

There's tough love and then there's just tardishness.

No matter what happens a kid should NEVER EVER hit their/they're(no idea which) mum.

What a fat ******* useless ****, somebodoy needs to teach him a a lesson

Is it just me or do all americans attend a "How to act on TV" class as part of their compulsory education? It's scary how well they all pull it off.
