what do you do and how much do you earn?

I was a Bus Driver, on roughly 18k a year, but i just packed that in at the start of this week, off to the army next week, think i will be earning roughly 16k after training.

An almost graduated Software Engineer, hoping to be on anywhere between £20k and £30 in the next six months.

I'm a Sprinkle Balance Consultant for All things sprinkly & nice Ltd. I'm the guy responsible for putting the "thousands" into "hundreds and thousands". It's tough going but the rewards are never ending. I travel the world all expenses paid to examine sprinkle factories. I go into a small dark room in the factory for 3 days at a time and hide there until I get the hundreds to thousands ratio just right. I am one of only two people in the entire world that knows the secret ratio.

Ahh you see you might not remember me, I'm more connected with the PR/advertising division, but I actually invented the sound of "thousands" falling onto an ice cream van counter-top. Small world..

My business card says IT Manager but I only manage infrastructure. So I consider myself a system administrator. I make 8% above the national average for my position which is enough. I used to make twice as much working for a London law firm as a support analyst. But then I worked twice as long and never saw my family :/

Lead Graphic Designer: £793 a week untill redundancy reared it's ugly head Now a Robot design engineer & contract designer- dunno about how much I will earn untill I start selling them/contracting.

its that time again, the thread that pops up every week for people to post inflated salaries... wait in the dark and then create a new thread when they get a new job with a higher salary :P

Class 1 HGV driver, average £500 per week, crap given the hours you have to do to obtain this wage.

I don't do anything. Someone pays me 4.5k /yr, not really sure who. Apparently I have mental health problems. I feel like I should be doing something, but find the idea overwhelming. I'm 29 this year, been this way for the last 5 years or so.

im an assassin, work has dried up though, killed a guy last year for £50k, some wife got a massive settlement on their 1.5mil house, she paid me 50k, thats gotta last!....

although that isnt what i signed up for, i quite fancy political killings myself, but hey a job is a job

IT Support monkey, on 18.5k. Was lucky enough to be one of only 2 people in the whole company to actually get a payrise this year, wooh! It's never quite enough though :/

i work(used in the loosest possible term as i haven't actually done it for 10months!) as a financial analyst and get paid bugger all - about £18k a year basic.
