what do you do and how much do you earn?

Cadet pilot

~£1,300 a month, free housing, tax free

Next year £3,000 a month, increasing by £1,000 a month each year. Lucky to have it.

Overworked and underpaid. And having to make tough decisions and do a lot of cost savings, and possible redundancies :/ :(

+1

Our account is now officially in jeopardy, but I simply don't have the resources to rescue it. Contract review meeting in a couple of weeks; I expect blood on the carpet.

:(

17k a year to sit on my rump and write a few numbers into the computer :D(data input)

I also make tea and coffee and change ink in the leaders printer.

and deliver sofa's when they forget to get the drivers helpers :(

"This better be good coffee"
"It is; It's managerial coffee!"
"What's that?"
"It's like regular coffee, except it's full of s***!"
"Guess who's cleaning the warehouse?"

That was a glorious day, I got points for that. :D

I earn (flat) about £25000 a year as a Specialist Upvc Fabricator, making stuff like this.

24k as a software developer, increasing in an unknown timeframe to 29k with back pay, 7kish as event security/doorman

I build & test professional loud speakers...Yet my wage is poor :(...few grand over 10k basically =/

Got made redundant last year, so this is better than nothing at the moment...Even though half my wage is going on the hours drive there and hours drive back everyday :p

I sell air conditioning units in the north pole. Large CO2 producing companies often hire me to keep the air cool and the glaciers solid. It's a 24 hour fight up there, but it keeps the tree huggers from finding out the terrible truth.

I keep a farm of diesel generators hidden under the ice, which also filters out the fumes before they reach the surface.

I earn £24k a year after expenses.

£13.5K as a stock controller for a chemical firm. Currently on a 3 month rolling contract, the first period of which is coming to an end next week. No mention made of renewing it, thus living in terror of the axe being swung on my employment. Again. :(

I know I should be grateful to have any job in the present economic situation we find ourselves in, but I'm just getting so tired of living in constant fear of losing my job.
