Well it would because it's a direct sequel using the same engine in the same game world with the same sort of characters and weaponry.

You play as the original "Prototype" Big Daddy. Who is seriously more badass than a normal Big Daddy (apparently you were too good so they made the rest less powerful).
Although there is probably some kind of Ryan link (for example the vita-chambers work for you so presumably you have related DNA).

Well you end up dressing up in the big daddy 'uniform'....and you have plasmids...My only perception is that you continue to wear the costume in the game for whatever reason

Along with you're use of plasmids.

But according to articles you play the very first big daddy - so you cannot be the same character from Bioshock.

It doesn't matter if you're the same character or not - all it shows is that there is a precedent for Big Daddies to have access to plasmids.

Really not that hard to understand.

i liked the origional. Just didnt like about 10% of it around the half way point. I kept having to use the sucky camera so my attacks would actually damage the enemies.

2 looks good what ive seen so far, so im buying it.

Looks good and from the PC version as well check out the AA (which the consoles cannot do to this level). Gameplay looks like more of the same but at least it will run very smoothly and hopefully this will make Q3 09 as intended.

One of the better games of the year and recent years.

It had it's issues....like every game.

More 'baddies' would have been nice for a start.

You weren't a big daddy in the original though, you were just yourself in the suit. Now you're the actual first big daddy, seems like they've just added plasmids in for the hell of it.

The big sister thing sounds a bit stupid as well :/
