So i have a roccat taito mouse mat, does anyone know the best way of cleaning it? is it machine washable or is it just a case of damp cloth and give it a good whipe??

I'm fairly sure putting it in the washing machine will absolutely wreck it.

With all my 'gaming mice', I just get a lense cleaner and a cloth[from my dads glasses kit], and it works a treat. Failing that just wet toilet paper does a job if it's just muck and skin accumulated on the mouse.

Haha, the Roccat Taito is a cloth mat! I would also not advise that you put your mouse in the washing machine! ^^ ;)

I would just wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth and wipe off any excess then leave to dry.

The Roccat Taito being a mouse mat and not a mouse btw :D

*facepalm*.

My bad, I'd just spent about an hour staring at Roccat mouse reviews and such. I was like 'is he advocating banging a mouse in the washing machine?'

For my cloth pads, I usually just use a damp cloth to go over them, or just run it under a tap and damp dry with a towel.

I don't think cloth pads would do too badly in the washing machine, althogh I get the feeling if they started to tear they'd just full apart.

I once had a shower with my icemat at the bottom, came out smelling of the fruit infusion shampoo I'd used and was so clean.

Pray tell what inspired one to do such things? :D

Haha. Well, whenever my icemat got grubby, I used to wash it under the tap and it would come out sleek black and clean. I had it in the bathroom and went for a shower and figured 'I was going to tap wash it anyway', so went and did it. It smelt amazing for about a week :D and my study stank of fruit infusions, rather than my sweat and the smell of ink, ah, so pleasant.
