Surely if you have a proper budget the pay day itself is irrelevent provided it arrives on a monthly basis

Maybe he doesnt need a monthly budget as he's at college or something? Stop putting people down

I have two jobs both paid monthly but one is paid around the 10th of the month and the other at the end of the month which works out great I never have to wait long between pay days!

Not everyone plans out each penny of their pay and unexpected expenses can occasionally arise.

Another last working day for me as well - unfortunately it won't look as good as this months pay which was 70% bigger than normal due to bonuses and overtime.

I felt rich for at least 3 days :)

Pay day tomorrow for me :D

Plus I get 2 months overtime and my bonus included, so I'm gonna be a happy bunny! If only every month were this exciting...

Had to pay £180 quid for vet bills on saturday but apart from that I should be fine until the 30th of this month :).

Got the GF's 30th coming up so need to plan for that.

I get paid monthly, but i'm generally good with money, I never spend all my wages as soon as I get them

I know the feeling. I don't get paid til the 25th and due to a bad combo of events I have about £15 left til then which will go on food, I topped the car up with the rest of my remianing cash so hopefully I'll be fine.
Next month shouldn't be so bad for me as I'm should be getting best part of £100 overtime pay and loosing a few overheads, but very tight at the moment, I'm glad I have a slightly odd working pattern, as it means my petrol will last longer! Hopefully I'll make it to 2 years with my current company unless something else better comes up; all the staff who've been there 2 years or more get 2k bonuses every year the company is doing ok! Jammy sods :D

I am feeling a bit skint as well, had a wardrobe clearout last weekend and got loads of new stuff :) Had a heavy night Sat night as well which was pricey!

I'd be alright if I hadn't put 75% of my wages this month into savings, but meh.. short term pain for long term gain. :D

Paying for flights this month has left me skint! Mind you, new computer games, clothes and many drinking sessions has not helped either :(
