if you go and play a "ranked play now" match you should be prompted to download the latest squad update.

thanks. am i doing something wrong as im just trying to get a sp game and the update isnt on there.

Ahhhh. you see, the squad updates don't apply to single player mode (i think). It only applies if you play online in which case they'll be bang up to date.

thats pants. fifa 08 used to have updates for sp.

I could be wrong but when I updated the squads and tried playing a SP game with my friend I couldn't get Arshavin at Arsenal. He is there online, just not offline.
