I've spent 11 hours in the past two weeks apparently...lol

And no doubt a couple of hundred over all.....

Quite sad when you look at it really :p
 
Well.. that was a short-lived fix of my ping.. dont know whats up with it..

Next thing to try is a re-download of the files.. but I'm thinking of doing an upgrade so may just reinstall everything. So much junk on this system now. Think this install has lasted me over a year.
 
I'm having some awesome games lately with the OcUK lot - they are so much more enjoyable than with randoms! I am finally getting reasonably good as infected too.
 
Join the l4d OcUK group on steam and add some of the people on there. Once you've had a game and started adding more OcUK people, you'll constantly get invited to games :)

Make sure you tell em you're new though!
 
Of course. Just add a shed load of people from the L4D names list thread and you'll get invites to matches coming in quite frequently.

There is usually a good level of communication so I'm sure you will pick it up just fine. If you have a mic then that's a bonus, too.
 
lol we had some great fun games today, firstly earlier on when myself hippo, lagmeister and delta were rockin out to some cool tunes while playin.

Then we had the epic leeroy games later on, with a week to go till the DLC weve been doing maps leeroy style that is running flat out no stopping to pick up wounded teammates, no backtracking etc

Ive put 36hrs into L4D in last 2 weeks and i think thats been my average since day one, ive never had a game with such low content maps wise take up so much of my time. Its a credit to the ocukers that this game is still fresh :)

Since starting too play verus with people of here ive racked up over 40hours in the last 2 weeks. God knows how much ill play once the new content is released

Server 4 I have noticed, but I think 6 has a bit too, though I'm not 100% certain of that. They aren't yours anyway Aekeron, so its not your problem. I haven't seen a post from the other 2 server owners recently, are they both still around?

I emailed Seaniboy and Decto the other day (when I updated admins/plugins). Decto has responded that he's keeping an eye on his server (Server 6) and as long as he's doing that you shouldn't get any lag on there. Seaniboy hasn't been in touch however. I might recommend that Decto moves his server to the "ocuk1" sv_search_key too for now, as probably only his and my servers are maintaining parity.
 
Very sorry guys, have been crazy busy lately. I will take mine offline for the while as i am not getting much spare time at the moment. Lucky to get in 1 game a week.
