Hi guys

Its time i upgraded my computer as its looking a little shabby now (AMD 64 3000+, 2Gb DDr1, AGP 7600gt), the only problem I have is very little money!

I am looking for a duel core CPU, motherboard, 2GB RAM, GFX Card and PSU (not worried about modular).

Try and keep the price as far under £200 as possible (currently have £80 in my savings for this rebuild)

My current Hard drive and DVD Drive will be fine for the new build as they are both under 6months old and are both SATA. Dont really want a dedicated sound card at the moment and nor worried about a case or extra fans.

Also i currently have a XP90c HS with 90mm AkASA Amber fan cooling my current CPU will this fit new system skt 775 or AM2?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I think your biggest challenge with that budget is going to be the Graphics Card. What sort of games are you looking to play?

Currently play BF2 and 2142 more than anything dont really need more than a 512mb GFX card as my 7600gt plays them both at 1280x1024 with all on high but no AA :( and frame rate stays around 60fps Have also been playing Mass Effect but no so much lately as i dont have the time.

I only said £200 as i would be able to get that quicker that £300 :)

l33-4 I had looked at that bundle and was wondering if it was worth it? as the motherboard is only MATx and had also looked at that PSU :)

And Kenny that Celeron is just a no no! from the start! :D

i was on a tight budget when I started too and went for an E1400 CPU temporary. And to be fair, im putting off getting a "real" one for a while now! They overclock great (mines at 3.5GHz) and can get get good fps in games. Dont do too much media stuff so no problems there, tho I suspect it wouldnt be too good with its tiny L2 cache

But yea, if you seriously cant stretch, its not all that bad lol

plus for cheap graphics, again, I was on a budget, second hand 8800GT or GTX shouldnt be too much. Know GTX's have gone for around £60 in the MM before, gutted I dont have access :p
