This is a reference guide for those whose wish to know how the coins are calculated
Match Completion: 200 Coins

Goals: 200 Coins (40 coins per goal - 5 goals MAX)

Shots On Target: 75 Coins (5 coins per Shot - 15 Shot MAX)

Tackles: 20 Coins (1 coins per tackle - 20 tackles MAX)

Corners: 50 Coins (2.5 coins per corner - 20 corners MAX)

Clean Sheet: 25 Coins

Passes Complete %: 100 Coins MAX (Your percentage = coins earned)

Possession %: 100 Coins MAX (Your percentage = coins earned)

Man Of The Match: 10 Coins

Notes:

After 5 goals no more coin bonuses will be awarded
After 15 shots on target no more coin bonuses will be awarded
After 20 tackles no more coin bonuses will be awarded
After 20 corners no more coin bonuses will be awarded

Goals Against: -100 coins MAX (-20 per goal, 5 goals MAX)

Fouls: -10 coins per foul (MAX unknown)

Yellow Cards: -5 coins per yellow (MAX -75 coins, 15 yellow MAX)

Red Cards: -10 coins per red (MAX -40 coins , 4 red cards MAX)

Offside: -1 coins per offside (MAX unknown)

DIFFICULTY MULTIPLIER:

Amateur: x 0.45
Semi-Pro: x 0.90
Professional: x 1.35
World Class: x 1.80
Legendary: x 2.25

HOME / AWAY MULTIPLIER:

Home: x 1.00
Away: x 1.02

TEAM DIFFERENCE MULTIPLIER:

0.04% per 1/2star difference

How the hell do you make coins on this game, i play games and get between 300 to 700 coins but i cant even pass 2.500 coins as i run out of contracts and players and need to buy packs or players. I have almost all silver but its getting harder and harder to make a decent amount of money. I am a 2.5 star team, i play a 2 star team win and get 600+ i play a 5 star team loose and get 400 there is no chance of winning thoese games and i just cant make enough money. No one buys the cards i trade and its getting anoying now. Am i doing something wrong? how do you guys do it?
 
I'm a 4.5 star team and play 4 star teams on Legendary and generally get 1000+ coins per game as I hammer them by about 5 goals every game. If you're having trouble then drop the difficulty down a bit. It's better to win 4-0 on Professional than it is to win 1-0 on World Class.

**For PS3 users**,here is a helpful tip, it will you get coins without wasting contracts.

1.Create a new user.
2.Create a new PSN sub account.
3.Go onto FIFA and create a new team. **ON THE NEW ACCOUNT**
4.Keep playing matches until you run out of contracts and cant play any more matches.
5.Go back onto your MASTER ACCOUNT and put a s*** bronze card up for trade for the amount of coins you have on the sub account(I usually have about 3500-4500)
6.Go on the sub account and buy the card.

Then you can simply delete the team on the sub account and create a new one and reapeat the process.
 
Guess the servers are down at the mo - had the UT game crash on me a few times today - hope they sort that out and the weird symbols in the names thing on 360...

The search system needs a complete overhaul if you ask me, you should be able to search for what your looking for far more easily. Without having to traul through loads of pages!

Yea. I'm on PS3 and we also have the symbol problem, I think it's because UT doesn't support the accents over the letters in some players' names.
