P183 -193

Looks great - I need a new power supply as my last one failed. Do you know how soon the CP-850 will be available to buy in the UK?

The CP-850 will be available around end of April. We will also be offering a further bundle discount via OCUK for buying the CP-850 at the same time as P183, P193 & 1200. However, it will be for limited time so keep your eye on them at the end of the month.

Well maybe one day they may make a P180 that can fit a quad rad in the bottom. Well i can dream anyway, till then ill guess ill just mod mine to make it more quiet.

P.S thumbs up to the antec rep, antec customer service has gone up in my book :D

You should take a look at the P193, it is an E-ATX version of the P180/P182/P183 and you should have no issues fitting anything into it.

Sorry to go off-topic but I have a P182SE (it's great btw!) and I've had it for just over a year but now the left (from the front) side panel has become incredibly hard to slide off. It looks as though the side panel has warped inside and one of the layers is peeling off, blocking the sliding motion needed to remove it. It's too bad to keep using the panel without potentially snapping the clips that keep it in place, so I have only one side on atm.

I also had one of the door magnets fall off, but a bit of superglue sorted that right out. Really love the case apart from that, managed to keep it scratchless so far too.

I've looked at the antec support site and hopefully I can get it resolved, but I can't find my serial number or QA date for love nor money, and there's no indication where they may be found on the website, can anyone shed any light on this?

I have heard some people having that same issue with it warping but that was with the first gen of the p182 i believe. Antec may send you out a spare panel but make sure you includes pics of the area in question. I think they have a side panel on their store for the SE but im not sure.

Yeah they do have it on the US store but that's not much good in the UK because of the hassle and extra cost.

My first hurdle is still where to find the serial number though! I have the original box and everything that came with it.

Dont quote me on this but it may be under the the psu or in the bottom area somewhere. ;)

this was actually only an issue on the very first batch of the original P180, around 4 or 5 years ago now. We probably only shipped a few hundred with this issue and most have been resolved by now. It was fixed straight away and any product you have bought in last 4 years will not have this issue, P182 was never affected.

If you have this issue, please contact our support team at www.antec.com and we will arrange replacement side panel at no cost to you.

Hi everyone,

the first reviews are starting to come through now for the new P183......check it out.

Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this case and it’s the best enclosure I’ve come across this year by far.
Pros
• Strong and robust
• Great cooling potential
• Very quiet – noise reduction mounts
• Professional construction
• Visually appealing
Cons
• Quite expensive

Also, the CP-850 PSU has just arrived into stock, so expect to see this with OCUK in the next week. Also, keep an eye out for a bundle discount for buying the 2 products together.

Cant understand why they couldnt make the top 120mm fan into a 200m fan. They did it with my mini p180 and it cools really good and looks right. The top vent just looks a bit off to me.
