Liverpool did alright, but if I was a Liverpool fan, knowing how close it ended up being, I'd be annoyed at Torres' performance. The way Chelsea were playing first half he could have won them the game himself if he'd turned up.

Cracking goal from Alex though.

A lot depends on Drogba. The guy is a **** but he bullied Liverpool all over the pitch in the 2nd half tonight and can do the same against Barca. Lets hope for another 12 goal triller, with Barca to go through!

Not really. He had one chance on his left foot which he should have scored but other than that he didn't get much service. Well the chances fell to others. But he occupied both Chelsea cb's and put in 100% effort.

So you'd prefer if instead of Barcelona v Chelsea and Liverpool v Chelsea we had the likes of Manu v the champions of Romania and Inter v the champions of Kazakhstan?

And you know this because? I love the fact that having just lost to us you believe had you gone through you would have had a better chance than we do...:rolleyes:
 
This was the exact reason why I was unwilling to totally write-off the scousers. If a team has to go out, then that's how you want it to be done. The only criticism about the game is that due to the tempo, the play became messy and anarchic. At times I simply couldn't believe the play managing to creep by the defence.

All I can say is the Barcelona game will be interesting.

No.

Sorry, no offense to Liverpool fans / Chelski fans but I don't think either of you would have being able to stop Barca.

Barca are in amazing form. I think the only team that will stop them will be whoever they meet in the final.

I think Manchester United and Arsenal both have really really tough games ! Honestly don't know who will win tomorrow and who I'd put money on getting into the final.

But then Alex scored and one of them said
