I have just sent off for a free pair of Skull Candy Hesh headphones, as they were free and I could do with a pair. They look a bit childish to me, with silly skulls on the earphones and other markings. Not something I would wear outside.

My question is thus: Are they any good? What is the sound/build quality like? Does anyone here have some?

I've got some Skull Candy headphones, can't remember the model at the moment, the sound quality is basically ok but they fall out of my ears far too easily - that could just be me though.

I dont think they will pop out my ear!

They actually started off as a product made in a Ski Resort in the US.

Reason being us Skiiers and Snowboarders like to ride around with big headphones on. Which is the reason they started out with quite a few sponsored pros on all their marketing material, they have since hit the big time though and are on sale everywhere.

I've got a set of the original Skullcandy Ti Cans and the sound quality on them is miserable. They look funky, but they have no bass to them whatsoever, despite the fact that these kind of headphones ususally tend to be bass heavy. They are more like having two crappy travel speakers on the side of your head.

They have done so well obviously because of the designs, but they seem to be quite poor sound quality from my experience, and I am by no means any kind of audiophile.

Sounds quality isn't great, but for free it's better than just a bog standard iPod headphone.

It annoys me greatly when my friends bang on about how good Skullcandys are the sound quality is great, and when I oppose them and say no actually, I just get shot down :(

I am a teenager by the way.
