this was my point, you can have a faster car with 120bhp less due to the low weight.

but if you fancy a laugh, get it remapped and tuned to bridge the 120bhp deficit, and still have the lower weight.

You wont get 100bhp from a remap of the RS6 thats for sure. And have you seen the price of RS6 remaps ?

The LED lights looked incredible on the R8 but they look ridiculous on your run of the mill A4. People compare them to BMW's Angel Eyes but there's no comparison. The Angel Eyes are subtle and more suited to the mid-performance motor, Audi's LED lights are too in your face.

No argument on those grounds, but the RS6 will be more comfortable for people in the back, carry more in the boot and do more to support struggling (?) OPEC nations.

One could, of course, circumvent this debate by going for a Vauxhall VXR8 and enjoying similar power for half the money. It doesn't look as good, but hey...

It appears the new RS models are not as good as the old ones. The chap i bought my B5 off bought a B7 then a few months later bought another B5 and sold the B7...

The RS6 is too heavy to be anything other than a motorway cruiser unfortunately

love them though!

And the whole point of the RS is to be subtle and if you know what you're looking for you'll know what it is!

To drive the B7 is quite a lot better than the B5 unless all you're interested in is ultimate power. I wouldn't want a B5 over a B7, but I would want a CSL over a B7 for example.

Really like the shape of these BUT every time I see the C63 the udi just looks weak, even the M3 saloon has a hard time looking meaner than a C63 IMO !

the new A6 looks very dull, and it looks like an A4, which is also very dull.
i struggle to tell an A4 from an A6 at times

this rs6 looks crap. the pre-facelift one looked nicer, but the C5 version looked nicest imo

That does not look different enough to the 90000000000000 A6 2.0 TDI S-Line's on our Motorways to look like a £76k car.

Which I guess is why nobody has bought one.

That's kind of the appeal though, isn't it? Besides, it's the same story with the E63 and M5.

Edit: I've seen a C6 RS6 (albeit an Avant) and it does look very different to the A6, much more imposing. Pictures don't really do it justice.

An E63 looks vastly different to most E Classes you see driven about.

I prefer the older RS6 to that one in the OP, interior is nice though.

As for people having a pop at footballers, i'm not in anyway a football fan but let's face it, they bring in stack loads of money for the company they work for which is why they get rewarded with such pay and to **** off their cars is just simple jealousy. Whilst a lot of them don't have taste, all you guys would be driving around in supercars if you earnt £50k a week.
