Bourne, Bond etc - Spec me

I'm after some fairly decent.......infact, as decent as possible, espionage type action movies. You know the ones, Bourne Identity, Quantum of Solace, Spy Game etc. Along those lines.

I've done a couple of google searches but I'm really after some personal recommendations.

Modern films please, I'm not into the old Bond movies unfortunately. Something that will deliver (big budget?)action/effects but retain a solid story and characters.

I've just watched the trailer for Boondock Saints and it does look very appealing, something I'd fancy but the critics seem to have torn it to bits slightly which is disappointing

24 is a TV series? I'm pretty sure I've seen it whilst passing through the room on a couple of occasions, didn't quite fancy it.

I've also added Body of Lies to my list.

Taken is so up your street that I would have to do something disgusting to visually demonstrate how up your street it is. Watch Taken.

It's one of those films that makes you tingle with it's awesomeness and it just rocks mayn.

Yea just mentioned a good action film in general. I know the good ones like Bourne, Bond etc are few and far between.

The Unit is a TV series but it's pretty similar and very good.

Just for the record, critics tore Taken to pieces and I think it's one of the best films I've seen.

Give it a go mate. I was the same till I sat down and watched 2 or 3 eps and I am utterly hooked now.

I'd really recommend 24.. its awesome!
